Today I finally got the chance to take proper photos of my new Regency gown, which I wore to last weeks regency ball.
I think I did a pretty good job mimic the left ensemble.

Today I finally got the chance to take proper photos of my new Regency gown, which I wore to last weeks regency ball.
I think I did a pretty good job mimic the left ensemble.

Yesterday I talked my sister into helping me with yet another photoshoot.
It was really windy outside, and I constantly needed to re-arrange my apron and bonnet. But I think we got some nice shoots anyway.
And yes, the doublet are a bit to smal for me, and I really need to press the pleats on the peplum down.
This picture post contains even more photos then usually, since I insisted on a second photshoot after I’d properly shortened the petticoat. You can actually see the skirts different lengths in many of these photos.
And once again a big thanks sis, for always helping me photograph and never complaining (even when I get frustrated at my own lack in modeling skills, and crappy wig work ;-)) I really appreciate it.

And of course I asked my sister to take some photos of me wearing my new spencer/west paired with my yellow voile gown and new bonnet.

Two weeks ago I manadged to get one of my sisters to help me take some photos of my new Steampunk outfit.
I originaly planed to wear it at a steampunk convention in late june, but the event ended up to expensive and I couldn’t attend. But since the outfit’s done I figured I like as well take some picturs of it.
To be fair I didn’t need to do a lot, besides put the pieces togeter out of my already existing wardrobe. I used my 1880s trained evening bodice as the base, and paired it with pants, boots, belts, lots of make-up, and my new “steampunk” accessories. Then I was good to go.
I had lots of fun on this photoshoot (I love to play around in my costumes instead of just stand there looking pretty), and I think we got some realy good pics. Enjoy.
The day after I finished the Paisley gown, my sister helped me dress up to take some nice photos of it.
I’m wearing the skirt and day bodice, paired with my new white bonnet and chemise, crinoline and petticoat.
Right before me and my sister went home after my dance recidal we took the time to do a quick litle photoshoot, and here are some of the pictures we took.
My sister wore the cherry blossom skirt combined with my suffragett shirtwaist.
And I of course still wore my green regency gown.
