I’m 32 years old, mother of one, educated seamstress, who just recently ventured into historic costuming.
And as this blog can attest I’ve totally fallen in love with all the costumes, events and great people of the costuming community.
I live in a small town in the middle of Sweden, making my living as a temp at the local theatres children’s department. Doing all and everything in between (except acting ;-)).
This blog is about my sewing and costuming experiments – both the successful and those not so much.
But there will also be some parts of other things in my life, like work/plays, travels and other non-costuming topics.
I really hope you will like my blog.

May I ask the name of the painting along your border?
It´s called: “Nordic Summer Evening” (1889-1900), and was painted by the Swedish artist Richard Bergh.
Isn’t it lovely 🙂
Absolutely. Thank you!!
